Many of Raffaele Scoccia’s compositions have reached the “Number One” or “Top Ten Charts” in the biggest music digital worldwide charts such as: Traxsource, Beatport, iTunes, SoulKendi, Kings of Spins.
Two of his compositions, “Honey Drip” and “Take It to the Top” were reviewed with the best rating by many international and famous radios all over the world, among them Billboard, one of the biggest American music magazine and radio in the world.
Additional compositions of RS were selected in prestigious compilations by Hed Kandi and BBE, eminent music labels based in the UK, on Purple Music Session by the acclaimed Swiss producer Jamie Lewis.
Raffaele Scoccia compositions are released by well-known American and international labels such as Sony Music Italy, Universal, Nervous, BBE, Jellybean Soul, Distant Music, Deep Sugar, Season Limited, Soulfuric, Code Red, Tribe, SoulDeluxe, Salted Music, Soul Candi, Soulfuric, Defected .
RS has collaborated with some illustrious international singers such as: Marlon Saunders, Keith Fluitt who collaborated with such renowned artists as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Sting, Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel to name a few; The highly-regarded vocal arranger lyricist/songwriter Shawn Lucas; the audio engineer David Sussman, who is considered one of the most prestigious engineers in the New york during the 90's, and the successful mastering engineer Dave Kutch, one of the best and renowned engineers of all the time.

In 2007 RS composed the song “Deep Space" for Mario Biondi, one of the most remarkable, international, and multi-platinum Sony artist based in Italy. "Deep Space" is included in the Album "Sun" published by Sony music in 2013, co-produced and arranged with Jean Paul Maunick, the leader of the legendary British band "Incognito" and performed by the prestigious organist James Taylor from the James Taylor Quartet.
The Album “Sun” has been certified platinum and it represents the biggest album of Mario Biondi’s career up to now with the featuring of excellent and illustrious collaborations worldwide.
The song RS composed “Deep Space” has been chosen as best single of the Album and entered at the “Number One” position of the national and international Charts being played on heavy rotation in all the main-stream radio stations world-wide.
In addition RS performed the Hammond Organ on other two important Mario Biondi's Albums: three tracks on the triple platinum Album "If" and one track on the Album "Due".
In 2009 RS was awarded the “Best Arrangement Award” at the "Festival di Sanremo" for the track "Crisi" that He composed and arranged for the artist Paolo Simoni, a well-regarded italian singer/songwriter.
The composition "Crisi" was included in the Album "Ci Voglio Ridere Su" (2012) published by Sony Music along with two additional tracks that He composed and arranged: the track "Tocca a Te" and the track "Io Sono Io e Tu Sei Tu" featuring the Italian singer music legend Lucio Dalla. “Crisi” was picked as the single of the album and airplayed on heavy rotation in the most important italian radio stations .
In 2011 RS was commissioned by Deep Sugar, a historic American music label, to write an alternative arrangement for the world renowned singer Ultra Natè titled "Turn it Up" in collaboration with the American producer Ruben Mancias.

In 2015 Moon Rocket released is first album entirely produced, arranged and performed in New York entitled “The Way Love Is” with the collaboration of the arranger Shawn V Lucas and the artistic production of the Legendary New York producer Bobby D’Ambrosio.
The track “The Way Love Is” feat’ Lisala Beatty is picked at #1 Position on many Itunes charts all over the world.

In 2020 RS produces the track “Reciprocity” Feat Paula. The track riches immediately the #1 position on many world charts music stores among them Traxsource.
On December 2020 Reciprocity is voted as best afro track of the year and Moon Rocket is voted as Best Artist of the year by the well know dance music store: Traxsource.

Moon Rocket has been also delivering a magical Live Show in many of the worlds most important venues as a DJ and live keyboard player. His recent performances with his Duo with Angelo Ferreri at "Output" in New York and during ADE at the "Dvine Sounds" & "iCulture" parties with Mousse T have established Moon Rocket as an artist to keep an eye on, growing the support of fans and turning the heads of many people in the industry.
Raffaele Scoccia aka Moon Rocket, is an accomplished Piano and Hammond Organ player, Producer/DJ and classically trained Composer.
Originally born and raised in Italy, he moved to New York to 2011 and then to South Florida in 2020, where he is currently based.
He started studying music at an early age with classical music Italian teachers. When he was 16 he met the legendary and eminent composer/pianist Luis Bacalov (Academy Award winner for the Soundtrack of “The Postman” movie) with whom he continued to study classical piano and also started to study harmony and composition.
In 2005 he was awarded one of the highest international Awards as best musician/composer, "Oscar of the Youngs" given by an European Commission composed by eminent culture and government authorities at the "Giornata d'Europa" event held in Campidoglio, Rome. This prestigious event awards was only to a minority elite representative of the music & arts.
